The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, the fourth instalment in the vampire film series, will be released on 18 November 2011, Summit Entertainment says.

But the studio refused to confirm or deny reports that the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's fourth Twilight book will be split into two films.

Dreamgirls director Bill Condon is directing Breaking Dawn.

The third Twilight film, Eclipse, will be released on 30 June in the US and 9 July in the UK.

Breaking Dawn will once again star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Meyer's Twilight novels have sold about 100 million copies worldwide.
