Wild winter

The UK's mild start to winter followed by recent plummeting temperatures have been a challenge for many of our animals and plants.

For a more detailed report on how the UK's winter season has been affecting our wildlife, don't miss Winterwatch this Wednesday on BBC Two at 9pm. When Chris, Kate and Martin will reveal if, and how, our wildlife is coping.
