Blue tit
They're the cosmopolitan foragers of caterpillars.
It is that time of year again when we start to watch spring with the help of Springwatch. Coming live from the RSPB Ynys-hir nature reserve in Wales, they'll be reporting on the season as it unfolds and following the fortunes of some old favourites as well as introducing a few new stars.
The famous Springwatch webcams are now live and streaming for 20 hours every day. With this privileged view you can get up close to all our animal families, and for the first time, you can join in the conversation directly as the action happens before, during and after the show.
Join Chris, Michaela and Martin this Monday on BBC Two at 2000 BST and for the next three weeks as they follow the stories of spring.

Sociable little finches with a dancing display flight.
