Physical Description
Atlantic spotted dolphins have a pale shoulder streak and a more robust body than the spotted dolphin (Stenella attenuata).

Distribution
They live in tropical Atlantic waters.

Diet
Atlantic spotted dolphins feed on fish and squid.

Behaviour
Groups of 5-15 are typical.

Conservation status
They are classified as Lower Risk by the 2000 IUCN Red List.

Notes
Atlantic spotted dolphins are very active, and leap frequently.
