Physical Description
Hector's beaked whales are very small and have a dark grey upper-side and a paler underside. They have many scars and a short, pale beak. The teeth are near the tip of the lower jaw and they have a small dorsal fin.
Distribution
Hector's beaked whales inhabit temperate waters of the Southern Hemisphere and North Pacific ocean.
Diet
They feed on squid.
