Physical description These dolphins have distinctive striping with a white or pink belly (and around flippers), pale grey sides and a darker upper surface. They also have a dark stripe between the eye and flipper.
Distribution Striped dolphins inhabit the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans in tropical and temperate regions.
Diet They feed on fish, squid and shrimp.
Behaviour Striped dolphins live in groups of 10-500.
Conservation status Striped dolphins are classified as Lower Risk by the IUCN Red List.
