We spent seven days at sea trying to film the humpback whale. We saw lots of animals, but couldn't get close enough to film. We extended the trip, but we were running out of money and getting desperate. We absolutely had to leave to get our flights home on the Sunday. An hour before the cut off time we saw a mother and baby humpback, right by the boat, and Charlotte managed to get in the water to hear them sing. It was an incredible experience for everyone, and made all the effort worthwhile.
