Professor E.O. Wilson:

Edward O. Wilson is a professor of science in the Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University. He has made many important contributions to the understanding of social behaviour, ecology and conservation. He is a tireless campaigner for the environment, and has won international recognition for his work. He is the author of many works, both scientific and popular including ‘On Human Nature’ and ‘The Ants’, both of which have won the Pulitzer Prize for non-fiction, and ‘The Diversity of Life’.
