Why is my playback skipping?

You need a good internet connection to use BBC Wildlife Finder (a broadband connection of at least 2Mbps available bandwidth). If your device is connected to the internet with a wireless connection then check that the signal is strong.

If it is strong, or you're connected through a cable, then check to see if other devices on your home network aren't downloading or uploading anything that may be slowing your network.

You may want to try again later, as network traffic can vary depending on the time of day.

If you have a computer, you can go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/diagnostics to check your network's connection speed.
