Reptiles
Most reptiles live on land but some are aquatic. Turtles have taken to the water as have their relatives - terrapins, crocodiles, alligators and sea snakes. Turtles have a hard shell for protection and their legs have evolved into flippers. They only leave the water to breed and lay eggs.

You'll find information on the marine environment and topics like migration and bioluminescence in our ocean info files
