Look around birds

Listen to some bird song
Birds are sometimes easier to hear than spot, so click on the links under the pictures below and listen to their song. Then open your window and try and identify any birds you hear calling.

Blackbird

Blue tit

Chaffinch

Collared dove

Great tit

Greenfinch

Robin

Sparrow

Starling

Wood pigeon

Confusing Corvids?
The garden birds above all look quite different from each other, but some bird species are more difficult to identify. Can you tell the difference between a raven and a rook? Would you know a jackdaw's call from a raven's?
