Animals on the edge

Investigate wildlife charities and pressure groups you may like to support. One starting point is the BBC's Saving Planet Earth series.
Support people who live in the area, through ecotourism or other ways to get money into the local economy. Responsible tourism can help to save some of the world's most endangered species by promoting the conservation of carnivores and their habitats and providing a source of income for local communities.
Find out more about wolves and their relatives. You'll find species information in Wildfacts. Read books, get in touch with organisations and search the internet for information. The more informed you are, the more you will be able to help.
Subscribe to the Canid Specialist Group's Newsletter to obtain the very latest information on saving wolves and their relatives.
Draw attention to the plight of wolves. It's especially important to change negative attitudes. Tell your friends and family about the situation.
