A free newspaper for BBC pensioners, Prospero contains news about pensions, former colleagues and developments at the BBC. It is also available to spouses and dependants. To get on the mailing list, call 029 2032 2811. You can also view the latest edition of Prospero online here

Volunteer Visiting Scheme
Is available to BBC pensioners over 70, those recently bereaved, and anyone in poor health. The scheme is a method of keeping in touch and operates throughout the UK. Visitors are BBC pensioners themselves. If you want to be visited, receive a phone call or meet up somewhere mutually convenient call 029 2032 2811. The contact is the same if you would like to become a visitor.
Funded by the BBC to provide support for pensioners and their dependants in times of unexpected financial hardship, when help from other sources is not available. The Trustees are responsible for awarding grants. Call 029 2032 2811 for details.
Grace Wyndham Goldie (BBC) Trust Fund
A registered charity funded by voluntary contributions to provide small grants towards the cost of education or hardship not covered by help from other sources. The Trustees are responsible for awarding grants.

Membership of the BBC Club in London
This is open to retired staff and to spouses or partners. The Prospero section is run by pensioners for pensioners. Call 020 8752 6666 for details and membership rates. Arrangements for regional clubs vary.
'myDeals' for pensioners
As a leading UK employer, the BBC has negotiated a package of competitively priced insurance products and services, known as myDeals for Pensioners. They are all available to spouses and partners as well.
Getting a quotation is straightforward and involves no obligation. Remember always to say you are a BBC pensioner at the outset.

BBC Pensioners’ Association – BBCPA was founded in 1988 to promote and safeguard the interests of BBC pensioners. It is independent of the BBC. Three open regional meetings are held a year. For membership visit BBCPA website or complete the form in Prospero.
