Being a Trustee is demanding, but the work is interesting and varied. As a member of the Trustee Board, you would be responsible, amongst other things, for deciding on investment policy, ensuring that the Scheme is financially healthy and that it is run in accordance with the Trust Deed. You can find out more about the role by visiting the pensions website: bbc.co.uk/mypension.
A half day’s briefing session explaining the role and duties of a Trustee with the Scheme’s legal adviser will be held on the morning of 1 November 2013 for all those who express an interest.
Please note that nominations will only be accepted from those who attend the briefing session.
If you are interested in attending the session or would like more information about becoming a Trustee please contact Sandra Phillips via the service line (029 2032 2811) or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 25 October 2013.
If there are two or more candidates an election will be conducted by Electoral Reform Services (ERS).
