Flexible payment simplified

The BBC and Trustees have agreed to make changes and simplify the options on flexible payment. Currently a member aged 50 or over (55 from 6 April 2010) can claim all or part (50%) of their pension benefits and continue to work for the BBC and continue to build up future pension benefits. From 1 October 2009, the option to take 50% will no longer be available.
