If you do not have your own pension, when you retire you will have only the state pension and your savings to support you. This website tells you everything you need to know about the BBC Pension Scheme. Here's a brief guide to finding your way to the information that is relevant to you.

Old Benefits

This applies if you joined the scheme up to 30 September 1996. Full details of the Old Benefits scheme.

New Benefits

Members of the New Benefits scheme joined on or after 1 October 1996 and before 1 November 2006. Full details of the New Benefits scheme.

Career Average Benefits

A new defined benefit Career Average Benefits section was introduced in the scheme for all new entrants from 1 November 2006.

GPPS

The BBC Group Personal Pension Scheme is available to people on fixed term contracts with the BBC. Full details of the GPPS.

State benefits
