Dream pop four piece Wild Beasts won over critics with their ingenious approach on Limbo Panto and their follow up Two Dancers. With the falsetto talents of Hayden Thorpe at the helm, the band from Kendal have injected much needed originality into the UK scene, which could see them taking home one of the industry's most coveted prizes.

This is a complete and coherent work and fully deserves to win the accolade. in addition to this they are acompelling and exciting live act. From my point of view the only other credible victor is Laura marling. Experience tells me it may well go to the xx in a desperate gesture to appear on trend or worse still to workhorse nostalgia outfit The Paul Wellers.................

Two Dancers is a fabulous album. It is original and the band members are so humble, yet extremely creative, intelligent and so erudite. I love listening to them describe the narrative of their songs and am so looking forward to the 3rd album.

I mean this band is so original that you can't just listen to it. General listen will not do, it's so complicated you have to throw yourself completely in then you can enjoy.
