La Roux - La Roux
Synth-loving duo Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid have caused quite a stir since debut single Quicksand hit the shelves in November 2008. The June release of their self-titled debut followed a tour with Lily Allen and was only kept from the album chart top spot by Michael Jackson.

La Roux are TALENT

La Roux should have won. The La Roux album is the only album I have bought this year and I think most of the songs on there are exceptionally great. The songs are catchy and unique.
