Torphichen and Bathgate should have made it through. The drones were top class, the chanters were almost perfect, and the phrasing was incredibly musical. The way the band play Balmoral, it's like one man asking another man a question (the first phrase), and the other man answering (the second phrase). It's Music!! I would definitely have had this band in the top six qualifiers.

Not sure they should have qualified but they certainly come close in my eyes. I was shocked to see they'd come bottom after some blatant mistakes from other qualifiers(I'm no expert but they even stood out to me!). I know the judges have a hard job but they got this one wrong. Lets hope they can come back and prove their worth in Cowal
