I was a big fan of Stuart as a soloist and love what he's done with the band but fear this performance wasnt their best. Too much hype around them and I fear they're unfairly judged because of the hype. Wish them all the best

Apart from FMM, the best drone sound on the park. Fantastic tuning and lovely resonation. Beautiful thick and broad chanter sound too - Sinclair chanters, I rest my case. This band is really still just starting out and establishing it's own history. This band is the result of having a captive corps of relatively the same vintage, being taught my a top soloist. It is so obvious this band has been built around MSR playing, like all good bands are. The style is there in spades. It will only get better from here. There is hype, yes. In this case, it's more than justified. This standard is downright scary when you consider the humble beginnings of 2005. Never mind the wobble at the start of the medley. We've all been there st some stage (or lie that we haven't). Great band. Long may it continue.
