Torphichen and Bathgate - Qualifiers

Torphichen and Bathgate Pipe Band are based in West Lothian, Scotland and compete in Grade One.

Established in 1902 the band attracts players from all over Scotland and beyond. The band is led by Pipe Major Stuart Shedden and Leading Drummer Callum Firth.

      I enjoyed listening to the drum section. The rolls sounded very smooth, and backed up the pipes very well. I am a bit biased towards Torphichen and Bathgate because Torphichen was my fathers home before he emigrated to the U.S. Listening to all the bands gives me ideas on where to improve our section. BBC thank you for making this site possible.
