Dinosaur Youre Living All Over Me BugDinosaur Jr 00:43am on 14 Oct 2009 While you largely praise this album.... Dinosaur Jr know nothing, subliminal or otherwise, of Britpops future... what tosh! You can't hear Charlatans on this record... if indie could rock, J set the bar and indie got axe men to form an orderly queue and stack up the Marshall Stacks... thank god!
BleachNirvana 00:39am on 14 Oct 2009 The first Nirvana track I ever heard in a club was Negative Creep at the Banshee in Manchester... I nearly blew up... much of the baggy world was fast unfolding by this point but Manchester was also right on it for this scene change... I remember the guy in X Records (Bolton) selling me this record as 'sounds like Mudhoney'... if only the hype had stayed at that level

EGBDF was a welcome 8 track sequel to this promise of another grunge scene ... when all the history is through, this is the trailblazers that mean grunge in my heart no matter what people write about Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam
