Child Development
This is a crucial age for encouragement as many children especially boys stop singing naturally and are often reluctant to persevere with playing a musical instrument. From five years on your child:

Acquires new vocal strength and discovers new songs
Develops a better memory for music
May show interest in learning an instrument
Starts learning skills formally at primary school
