Tempo
Faster/slower. Use the word 'speed' as well as 'tempo' (plural 'tempi').
Texture
Different ways of combining sounds. Texture is generally described in terms such as 'thick', 'thin' and 'dense', and refers to varying quantities and combinations of sounds. A solo violin melody moving into a passage for full orchestra is an example of a thin texture changing to thick.
Timbre
Different types of sound. Play a note on a keyboard and then sing the same note. The listener knows which is the voice and which the keyboard by the quality, or 'timbre', of the sound. One voice can make sounds in a wide variety of timbres, as can individual instruments.
Treble notes
High notes. The word 'treble' also describes the voice and instruments that sing or play high notes (e.g. treble recorder).
