Harmony
The combination of several notes sounded simultaneously to produce a chord.

Improvisation
The creation of a musical work as it is being performed, or: making it up as you go along.

Interval
The distance between two notes, either played simultaneously or one after the other e.g. with a 'fifth', the two notes will be five notes apart, including the first and last notes.
