Since the beginning of his career, alto saxophonist Peter King has been a major influence on the British jazz scene. He has been hailed as the finest alto sax player that Britain has ever produced. He now concentrates on his work as a solo artist and quartet leader after a career playing alongside many of the legends of jazz.
Jim Mullen
Whether as soloist, leader or band member the guitar work of Jim Mullen is instantly recognisable. Co-leader of the revered Morrisey-Mullen Band he now plays with a wide variety of groups with many of today's top young vocalists and players benefiting from his sympathetic yet distinctive style.
Mark Nightingale
One of the leading trombonists of his generation, Mark has an international reputation for combining a formidable technique with a lyrical musicality not always associated with the instrument. A star of The National Youth Big Band at 15, he's gone on to be first choice player for numerous groups as well as leading and writing for his own ensembles.
