BBC Introducing offers amazing session opportunities to unsigned artists. Week by week our shows throughout the UK invite fresh talent to their studios to record live sessions. We film and photograph the most impressive sessions at the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios to create a lasting showcase online. Bethan Elfyn hosted another United Nations night at Cardiff's infamous Clwb Ifor Bach venue, with VanGuard, Hot City, Kobi Onyame and Not Squares all in attendance for a night of electro, house and hip-hop.
Between 26th and 30th April 2010, we're teaming up with BBC 6 Music for a special week of sessions and shows, featuring live sessions from Broadcast 2000, Allo, Darlin', Meursault, Man Without Country, plus a one-off gig at Maida Vale with Let's Buy Happinesss, Babe Shadow, The Neat and Post War Years.

In February 2010, we took over the legendary Maida Vale studios for two days of live sessions with some of the hottest up-and-coming artists from all over the UK. Backed by our family of radio shows, a dozen acts had the chance to record three of their songs.
In December 2009, we put on a very special gig to mark the end of a fabulous year for under the radar music. Out Like A Lion and Muchuu performed, as did our BBC Introducing alumni The Temper Trap and Florence and the Machine. Read more and check out the photos.
The four faces of BBC Introducing on Radio 1 in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales were united in Belfast, with each DJ picking an act. We witness awesome performances from Twin Atlantic, Pulled Apart by Horses, Two Door Cinema Club and Save Your Breath.
Radio 1 presenters invited the favourite new artists to a special recording at Maida Vale. Incluidng performances from The Ting Tings, Sam Isaac and Late Of The Pier.
BBC Introducing shows around the UK brought the best of local talent to Maida Vale for a weekend full of top performances in 2008.
Pete Tong and the Essential Mix travelled to Huddersfield, where he introduced a hot new DJ, Doorly.
