Acclaimed DJ/producer Maas rose to fame on Europe's techno and trance scene as a purveyor of darkly funky remixes and productions, which he describes as "percussive wet funk'.
Maas has DJed all over the world in all the major clubs and most of the major festivals He has recorded for numerous dance labels such as Hooj Choons, ffrr Records and Oakenfold's Perfecto imprint 48K. Maas' mix of Azzido Da Bass' "Dooms Night', featuring 'that' warped bass line, was a huge club hit in 2000, crossing over into the UK garage scene.
In 2002 he released his debut artist album "Loud" to critical acclaim. The follow up album "Pictures" will be released summer 2005.
Last year (2004) Timo played on the Radio 1 stage at Glastonbury for The Essential Mix along side Sander Kleinenberg and Seb Fontaine.
