Comments on Nine Black Alps

Some of their album reminds me of 90's grunge, kinda like Nirvana but not really.
Gordon, Rugby

First time i heard them was at glastonbury, and what a band. BRILLIANT.

For me, Nine Black Alps was one of those times where your wading past to somewhere else at Glastonbury and inadvertently pass by a band you were not intending to see. They seem to have just the right balance of catchy melody and beefy guitar riffs that could hook them up with a wider audience. Without knowing any of their set, it was impossible to listen without squelching rhythmically in the mud (you cannot tap your foot when it's three inches under water). Glastonbury gives birth to another band that should go places (preferably somewhere drier)!
Anthony, Liverpool

The Nine Black Alps are fantastic, they've taking every good aspect of grunge and rock 'n' roll and formed their own unique style, I saw them on the John Peel Stage and they were great, Not everyone and Shot down are excellent as is the rest of the album
Joe, Newcastle

I didn't get to see the NBAs at Glasto unfortunately but saw them a couple of weeks ago at the 100 CLub and back in March in Camden. They're absolutely awesome and sure to be left standing when many of these 'new bands' have been "Shot Down". Great work lads...
Rob Fox, Manchester
