Gig Review: Kaiser Chiefs

Kaiser Chiefs Rocked Glastonbury. There is no simpler way of putting it. From their first to last track they just purely rocked!

Never before have I seen a gig that just kept the momentum going in such a way that you got excited about the tracks you may never have even heard before. Lead singer Ricky Wilson had so much energy and put on a great show. His insane dancing was one thing but when he crowd surfed to the already hyper "I Predict A Riot" it took eight security guys to get him back, that was just something else!

There were two moments of the gig that really stood out, the first had to be when he stood at the front of the stage without a microphone during "Oh My God" and started shouting the chorus, which the crowd chanted back at him. Then with the crowd now fully on board they kicked in the bass and drums and sent everyone wild. But the best moment had to be when they played my favourite track of the album "Everyday I Love You Less And Less"; it was only the third track of the set, but it signalled one thing: The Kaiser Chiefs had arrived, and we were in for one hell of a show. They didn't disappoint.
