All the action, on and off the stage
Heart-Ships are yet another Leeds based band playing the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds this year. The band loosley came to be in 2009, after Ryan Cooke and Winterbird Footfeet (please tell me that's his real name) started jamming and playing the most lawless, anything goes music they could come up with. Over time their acoustic venture became a three piece jamming in various dank Leeds basements, until inevitably the sound expanded and more and more band members were added.
And that's where they are today, a collection of artists with wonderful musicianship, and a small mountain of songs that have been burning in the blood, hearts and minds of their creators over the past few years. Now is your chance to hear these songs out loud in their electrifying live set, all aboard the Heart-Ships.
We support unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar bands and musicians.
