Post-grunge party

Weezer hit the big time when their hits Undone - The Sweater Song and Buddy Holly came to prominence in 1994, accompanied by classic music videos directed by Spike Jonze. The first captured the band in one revolving single take as they were joined on stage by a pack of friendly canines. The second seamlessly transported the LA outfit back to the set of Arnold's Diner from the hit series Happy Days.

However their popularity was far from novelty. Weezer have gone on to make seven full albums to date, with their Green album of 2001 re-igniting their career and bringing them a whole new generation of fans with songs like Island In The Sun and Hash Pipe.

2009 tour pals with this year's Reading and Leeds headliners Blink 182, Weezer also wrapped on their most recent record Raditude late last year. They mixed new and old fuzzed out power pop when they graced the Main Stage.
