Slick Southend sounds

Redtrack are four well-dressed roustabouts from Southend-On-Sea who make cuttingly precise alt-pop tunes which recall the likes of Costello, Difford and Weller quaffing some New Wavey-flavoured ale. Thanks to their knack for making connections, they've already featured on Hollyoaks and Top Man TV and will become the very first band to release an album on the Fandango in summer 2010. That album will be called Whole Town’s Heart and was preceded by the Steve Lamacq-approved single Perfectly Fine Intellectual on 21 June.
