The news of Michael Jackson's death swept through Glastonbury Festival in 2009, inspiring many acts to perform their own tributes to the late superstar. Lily Allen wore a single white glove for her set on the Pyramid Stage, The Streets' Mike Skinner covered 'Billie Jean' on the Jazz/World Stage and Pharrell Williams of NERD made a heartfelt tribute on stage during their performance. Also on the lineup was Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Crosby Stills and Nash and Blur, who made an emotional and electric return to the fore with an ecstatic reception from their audience.
