Wormholes |

 |
 |
Wormholes are used in Drumsteps to make things repeat, or loop. In order to work, they must be used in pairs. Anything that happens between two wormholes can be made to repeat as many times as you like. To use wormholes, first click on the wormhole tab in the main toolbar.

Choose the ‘Lifespan’.
Type or use the arrows to put the number of repeats you want in the wormhole lifespan box.
Place two wormholes.
Next, put two wormholes around the steps that you want to repeat. The top wormhole should go in the grid square directly over the first step. The bottom one should go below and beside the last step.
Link the wormholes.
After you have placed your wormholes, you will need to link them. To do this, select the link tool in the main toolbar. Then click first on the bottom wormhole and then on the top one. The bottom wormhole will change colour and you will see an arrow showing you that the wormholes are linked.
Place a ball and press play.
Put a ball on the top step and press Play. The ball should go into the bottom wormhole and reappear out of the top one.
Tip:
If you want to be really cleaver, you can also use wormholes to send a ball from one place on the screen to another completely different place!
