Drumsteps
Ladders
In DrumSteps, ladders let you make groups of shorter notes. When the ball falls down a ladder, it will make one sound for every rung of the ladder. One ladder always takes the same amount of time to play as a step, no matter how many rungs it has. To place a ladder, first choose the ladder tab in the main toolbar.

Step 1Choose a ladder.

You should then see the ladder menu, which looks like this. Click on the type of ladder you want to use.

Step 2Place your ladder.

Click anywhere in the grid to place it. When placing a ladder it should go 'beside and below' its nearest step. Ladders can also go one on top of the other. Try making something like this...

Step 3Press Play.

Press play and see what happens.
