Biography

Ffa Coffi Pawb (Welsh: "Everybody's Coffee Beans", phonetically: "Fuck Off, Everyone" ) was a band that is commonly acknowledged to be the prototype of the Super Furry Animals. They were signed to top Welsh music label, Ankst.

The band was made up of SFA's Gruff Rhys as frontman, with SFA's Dafydd Ieuan as drummer. Rhodri Puw, later a member of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and Dewi Emlyn, now a tour manager for GZM and SFA, were the other two band members.

The band released three albums, Clymhalio, Dalec Peilon and Hei Vidal! whilst together. In 2004, a compilation of the band's best tracks was released under the title Am Byth ("Forever") on the Placid Casual label.
