Amir Izadkhah, better known by his stage name Amir Amor, is an English musician, record producer, DJ and songwriter. Since 2011, he has been a member of the drum and bass band Rudimental. As a member, he often takes the name Amir Izkadeh.
London-based Amor was tipped as the "No.1 new producer to watch" by The Guardian at the end of 2011, and listed by NME magazine as one of the "20 hottest producers in music right now". Some of the other names on the bill were Jamie xx, Paul Epworth, Mark Ronson, Dr. Luke and Rick Rubin.
After having worked with artists such as Plan B, Yuck, Marina and the Diamonds, Maxïmo Park, Peace and Example in 2011, Amir joined UK electronic band Rudimental. As a quarter of the outfit, the first song released with them was "Feel the Love", which went to No.1 in the UK chart and has charted highly across Europe and in Australia.
Amir is also co-founder of London recording studio Major Toms. According to the Major Toms blog, Amor was primarily working on Rudimental's debut album amongst other projects. Home was released on 29 April 2013 and it charted at #1 in the UK.
