Burning Skies are a deathcore band from Bristol, UK. They are signed to Lifeforce Records and were established in 2002.
Starting in 2002, Burning Skies have gone from strength to strength with each release since their inception, Each album has seen an advancement in technicality, songwriting ability and sheer brutality which has resulted in them being one of the UK's finest metal exports.
Burning Skies are most commonly associated with the metalcore and deathcore scenes, however pigeonholing them is not so easy as the quintet have constructed a highly dynamic brand of blast beat fusion with intricate and brutal guitar riffs running the full gamut of extreme metal; from black metal to thrash, death metal, grindcore and even some hardcore.
"Greed.Filth.Abuse.Corruption", their most cohesive and exciting work to date, was recorded in Dec 2007/Jan 2008 at Rape Of Harmonies studios in Triptis, Germany with Alexander Dietz(Heaven Shall Burn), Patrick.W.Engel, Ralf Muller and Kai Tennenberg handling production/recording duties and is released in Europe March 24 and the US/Canada on May 13 via Lifeforce Records.
