Biography

Udit Narayan Jha popularly known as Udit Narayan, is a Nepali playback singer in commercial, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Nepali, Urdu, Garhwali, Sindhi, Panjabi, Oriya, Assamese, Maithili and Bengali language cinema. Narayan has sung in 32 languages. He has won three National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards. In 2009, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India. Along with Kumar Sanu, he dominated hindi male playback singing in the 90's.
