Biography

Foreign Beggars are a critically acclaimed British hip hop and Grime group based in London. The group consists of MCs Orifice Vulgatron and Metropolis, DagNabbit and DJ Nonames.

They first appeared on the scene in 2003 with their debut LP Asylum Speakers (on their own Dented Records label). The group's live show combines Orifice's raps with beatboxing, turntablism, improvisation, and freestyles. They often appear with guest performers including Dr. Syntax, Skinnyman, Stig of the Dump, Foz, Skrein, Dubbledge, and noted beatboxer Shlomo.

The crew have released several 12"s and EPs and a debut LP, Asylum Speakers. Shlomo appears on Björk's album Medulla and NoNames contributed to Damon Albarn's Gorillaz project.

Since 2006 they have been presenting the Mic Show on the BBC Asian Network.
