Ted Jensen is an American recording engineer. Jensen is the chief mastering engineer at Sterling Sound, and has been producing for major labels since the 1960s. He has mastered, engineered, or mixed hundreds of albums from major pop and rock musicians. In 2002, he received a Grammy Award as master engineer of the Norah Jones album, Come Away with Me, which won Album of the Year. In 2007, he won a Grammy for Maroon 5's hit song "Makes Me Wonder" from their album It Won't Be Soon Before Long, which won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. He worked with Metallica for their latest album, Death Magnetic
