Biography

Swound! are a band from Nottingham, England that consists of four brothers that grew up on the Isle Of Man where they lived next door to John Rhys-Davies and Norman Wisdom. The band's name was made up by a friend who once mixed up the words 'sweet' and 'sound' thus creating Swound!. The four brothers have been playing together since 2005.

Before releasing any music Swound! had gained the attention of Radio 1 and were asked to record a live session from Maida Vale.. They have since gone on to release 3 singles that have reaped praise from both national radio and International music press.

Swound!'s debut album, Hello Future Our Name Is Swound!, released in October 2008, has received much critical applause. It narrowly missed out on the shortlist for the annual XFM awards and Rock Sound chose it in their Top 75 albums of 2008. Sub Editor Darren Sadler placed it in his Top 10 of the year.
