Biography

Phantom Limb are a country/soul band from Bristol, England.

The band released their debut single, 'Don't Say A Word' and self titled album in August 2008.

The album release was coupled with an in-store performance at Fopp in Bristol followed with a tour of the UK and Ireland.

Singer Yolanda Quartey is currently touring with Massive Attack and is tipped to be a guest vocalist on the band's 5th album which is due out in 2009.

After an appearance at the 2008 SXSW, the band played an acclaimed performance at the Glastonbury festival, resulting in up coming dates with soul singer Candi Staton.

The band is based around Bristol production team Robot Club, who have been in the studio with Daddy G, writing for the forthcoming Massive Attack album. Robot Club have also written and produced for Will Young, Fortune Drive, and SixNationState.

Phantom Limb will be performing two sold out shows with Norwegian power trio BigBang in Oslo at the end of December.

The band have been invited to support Will Young on the 2009 UK tour starting in November this year.

Phantom Limb are to release a new single, Draw the line in the latter part of 2009.
