The Cannon outcrop on Tryfan

Snowdonia, Wales

Nestled in the northwest corner of Wales, Snowdonia is home to one of the most popular National Parks in Great Britain. Over 8 million people a year flock to the region. Most of them to visit the jewel in the Park’s crown – the Snowdon mountain.

There is much more to explore in this craggy region than Snowdon, though. Click on the links to find out more about the area and the people who call it home.

This programme was broadcast on BBC 1, Sunday 26th August.
