  • STANDARD VERSION

You can use the Standard (WAP) version on any internet-enabled mobile device. It's got the fewest images, and only limited audio and video content, making it the fastest and cheapest option.

  • ENHANCED VERSION

We designed the Enhanced (XHTML) version for more capable mobile devices.

It's easier to browser around and is visually richer. It has broadly similar content to the Standard version, with more video and audio content.

Because it has more data-rich content, such as images, it may be slower to browse and will cost slightly more than the Standard version, depending on your service plan.

  • DESKTOP VERSION

This version is for devices with larger screens, advanced mobile browsers and for PCs.

This is the full version of bbc.co.uk, so it won't work on all mobile devices. It may be slower and more expensive to browse due to the amount of data involved, depending on your service plan.
