Midori no tobira means 'The Green Door' in Japanese and this roof garden represents a secret, green world. Based on the designer's personal childhood memories, the garden provides a place for urban residents to escape to. The space is sunny and exposed to strong winds, but provides an area where people can relax within its green walls. Kazuyuki says: "I wanted to make this kind of green space where people would ask: "Is this really a roof top?"
