Help playing audio/video ![]() Route from Church Stretton to Chelmarsh Reservoir Day OneBob took a 130-mile route over four days from the Long Mynd in Shropshire through to Rugby in Warwickshire. The first part of his route took him along the Jack Mytton Way - one of the country's longest bridleways. Bob cycled the sections between Church Stretton and Chelmarsh Reservoir near Bridgnorth. Full details of the route can be downloaded atThe BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites Day TwoSustrans, the cycling charity, is responsible for creating 12,000 miles of cycle paths throughout the UK. One of them is the Mercian Way, also known as Route 45. It's a 230-mile route from Chester to Salisbury. ![]() A cycle route from Chelmarsh Reservoir to Brierley Bob picked up the cycle path at Chelmarsh Reservoir. It took him alongside the Severn Valley Railway to the Severn Valley Country Park and then on through the Wyre Forest to Bewdley and beyond. At Stourport he joined the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal to Whittington and then Sustrans Route 52 to the Merry Hill Shopping Centre. The Birmingham Mine Line Canal brought him into the centre of the city from Dudley. ![]() A cycle route from Dudley to Coughton Court He then joined the Worcester and Birmingham Canal all the way down to the King's Norton tunnel. From there he joined National Cycle route 55 down Icknield Street, a quiet country lane. In Redditch it joins with National Cycle Route 5, following the Arrow Valley Country Park out to Studley and Coughton Court. He then picked up Route 41 all the way to Rugby- a route that passes through country lanes to Warwick and Leamington. ![]() The cycle route from Wilmcote to Rugby Beyond Leamington it joins the Offchurch greenway along a disused railway.
