I am part of a charity or know someone in need of charity. Can I have some free stuff to raise money for a good cause?
Unfortunately, because the BBC is funded by money raised through the television licence fee, we normally have to decline requests for prizes and donations, even for the most worthy causes. With a series as popular as Merlin we do receive a number of enquiries of this nature and unfortunately we simply do not have the resources to help directly in these cases. The BBC does all it can to support worthy causes through the work of the official BBC charity, Children in Need, and the monthly appeals broadcast on our TV and radio networks across the UK. We wish you all the best with your campaign.
