Jobs

  1. How can I appear in Merlin in any way, even as an extra?

When producers require extras and walk-ons for a production, they approach one of the many specialist agencies and may also advertise in the local press. If you are serious about becoming an extra, you might like to obtain a copy of the industry's handbook, Contact, which is published by Spotlight. If you are interested in obtaining this handbook, please write to: The Spotlight, Charles House, 7 Leicester Place, London, WC2H 7BP or Telephone 020 7437 7631.

  2. I have a great idea for Merlin that hasn't been done yet. Can I submit a script, story or idea for Merlin, even if it to donate to you for free?

Unfortunately we are unable to consider your material as we have already commissioned a full team of writers. Any similarity between your material and anything included in the final production will be purely coincidental. All entries are sent back unopened.

  3. I want to be part of the Merlin crew, even as runner. How can I do this?

The BBC usually advertises a job specifically as the job title / role. If you want to get into the BBC the best place to start would be the BBC jobs website. All jobs and opportunities are listed here.
