Website Queries

1. Who can I contact if I have a query about the content on the website, have a usability problem or have found an error?

   We sadly do not have time to answer any queries which are already covered in the FAQs. If you are contacting us about another matter, please use the form below and we will address your query as soon as possible.

2. I would like to see something added to the website. Can I request something?

   Please contact us using this form. If there's enough interest in something we'll explore the possibility of adding it to the site. We will not be responding to these requests on an individual basis, but all ideas are carefully considered.

3. How can I download ring tones, videos and/or wallpapers to my phone?

   All Merlin mobile content can be found by typing bbc.co.uk/mobile/tv/merlin/ into your phone's browser. For more information about the service go to the Mobile website.

4. I hate how you watermark your desktop wallpaper!

   Sadly, pirate merchandise was immediately released using images from the site. Our choice was either to remove all images or watermark them.

5. Can I request specific images/sounds/videos?

   Unfortunately, we cannot take specific requests; we update the site as often as possible with the best of the material that is made available to us.

6. Are any of the videos available with subtitles?

   Yes, most of the videos on the Merlin website are subtitled.

7. Can I watch a full episode online?

   When episodes of Merlin are broadcast on BBC television they are usually available to watch on BBC iPlayer. For rights reasons episodes are usually only available for 7 days after they have been broadcast and only available to UK viewers. Go to the Merlin programme pages to check if there are any episodes available to watch.

8. Why can't I access Merlin videos if I live outside the UK?

   We have to restrict most of our video content to the UK for rights reasons. Our system does this by looking at your IP address (the unique number of your computer). If your IP address is not recognised as one that is inside the UK, you will receive an error message.

9. The site says I am outside UK, but I'm not? Help.

   It is quite possible your ISP (internet service provider) is located outside the UK, even if you are located within the UK. To gain access please register your IP address as being located within the UK. Details of how to do this can be found on the Broadband help page .

10. Are there any online games for Merlin?

    We will be releasing games on the site during the series. Check out the games section for the latest.

11. Can I link to your website?

    Yes, sure you can, as long as your site is of non-commercial nature and for personal interests only.

12. Can you link to my site?

    No, sorry. We can't do this as it may be considered as endorsing an external site, including any of its views.
